Policy Details

CONTISAFE

ContiSafe provides peace of mind to Continental customers by providing accidental
tyre damage cover to all Continental-branded Passenger tyres. This guarantee provides
for the free of charge replacement of a tyre under the conditions set out below in the
event of unrepairable accidental damage.

Guarantee Coverage

All Continental-branded Passenger tyres (Passenger, 4x4 & SUV tyres).

Guarantee Duration

12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase of the relevant tyre.

Replacement / Repair Policy

  • Sidewall impact due to cut, curb or pothole.
  • Sidewall bulge (Rim Pinch).
  • Side wall damage (due to unrepairable puncture) - running while flat.
  • Customer will be offered 1 puncture repair per year, per tyre.

Conditions

  • Any puncture repair must be mushroom repair otherwise any claim will be deemed invalid.
  • Puncture from nails, sharp external objects (repairable condition) will be covered as 1 (one) free of charge puncture repair per year during the guarantee period.
  • Legal remaining minimum tread depth required - 1.6mm.
  • The present guarantee is not a mileage guarantee.

Not Included in the Guarantee:

  • Any damage caused by vehicle’s willful or deliberate misalignment.
  • Side wall damage due to under inflation.
  • Repairable damages on the tyre (e.g. puncture).
  • Flat spot caused by vehicle long parking period.

Replacement Policy

1 (one) free tyre will be oered if the above conditions are met.

Recommendation by Manufacturer

Tyre rotation and alignment check must be done every 10,000 kms.
